It’s happening- they’re tying the knot this coming June!  I’ve had the pleasure of working with and under Oweita at the Four Seasons Hualalai since 2008.  Through this I’ve had the honor of getting to know her and Mana, and their family, and being their  photographer. Being a photographer brings the blessing of finding yourself welcomed into other people’s lives in arenas that isn’t always the norm to enter.  In a sense you meet a couple, family, and there you are: You, them and a camera. All sharing a mutual understanding that they are about to share something often deep, unique, intimate with you, and you are going to capture the essence, the expressions of that moment, and give it back to them.  I often reflect at what a powerful connector cameras are.   I have to say that working with Mana and Oweita has become a highlight for me. Their daughter Kayana just made three this past week and that makes three years plus since we first did some hapai/maternity shoots together. I’ve gotten the joy to see their family grow, and now they are taking their love to an even greater level.  Mahalo Mana & Owei for allowing me to share with you guys, and Cheers to you as we celebrate your love!!!
