The Regas Clan was as sweet a family as the spot we picked out for their shoot. Kua Bay holds some nostalgic memories for Keri and I, as we spent many a weekends together in our salty childhood days, our swimsuits packed with sand as we piled into her mom’s 1980’s something red Toyota 4-Runner (that thing went everywhere!) rambling down and up the once 4-wheel drive only terrain into a sacred paradise. Fast forward quite a few years and you have a paved road, and all the ‘upgrades’ that come with that. And although things aren’t quite like ‘the good ‘ol days’ in some ways, in others, some things never change. So it was a golden hour to be at Kua Bay with this childhood bestie of mine again, her husband and their D-A-R-L-I-N-G daughter as they now live many miles across the pacific. It couldn’t have felt more right than to capture three generations of such a loving family, as Keri shared a place from within her heart with them that is so endearing to her and holds so much love. Here’s to Regas Clan, the next generation of Regas keiki that are on the rise, and their adventures that are only beginning!
