Live Aloha__Give Aloha

February 2015 is here and it’s time to love on the ones you love!  I thought it would be appropriate to keep the aloha going, because after all, love is our universal currency and is an all day, everyday, year round kinda deal.  Sanae Designs and I have come up with our: “Live Aloha- Give Aloha” campaign.  We are going to donate 20% of our sales this month to one of our treasured, local, non profits, Deep and Beyond.  Deep and Beyond (www.deepandbeyond.org) is an exceptional organization that focuses their efforts around those in our community that are disadvantaged.  Every month they run a snorkel day at Kahalu’u beach where people with physical, and other disabilities have an opportunity to snorkel, swim, and experience freedom and love through the ocean, all while building lasting relationships with those around them.  I have volunteered numerous times through out the past few years, and I can’t tell you how good it feels to be able to take someone in the ocean, who normally wouldn’t have the necessary equipment and team of people to support them in order to do so.  Living here in Hawai’i, we take these blessings for granted!  They also run a program where they take youth on overnight camping, and adventure trips around the island.  These camps are for the local youth, but they specifically target those that live in government funded, low income housing, where the chance to go camping, and explore the Big Island is often a luxury that just can’t always be afforded.  We are so grateful for the positive impact, and forward movement that deep and beyond has brought to our island (they’re even doing snorkel days in Hilo now during the summer months!)   As you can see I’m a big fan of theirs and if you have a moment, checkout there website or facebook page.

So in the name of love, and in honor of Deep and Beyond, I am running a special allllll month long. I will be offering a 20/20 Mini Photo Package: 20 minutes of fun, with 20% going towards Deep & Beyond for only $100.
