It seems like yesterday that Gage was just a dream and a prayer. And now as November is here and we are gearing up to celebrate the Kona Coffee Festival, we are also getting ready to celebrate Gage’s entry into the world!
Kyra screams South Kona Girl. She avoids town unless needed, and is so laid-back and ‘country,’ that it only felt natural to shoot her in her element, and stay ‘south side.’ I ended up shooting her up at my parents coffee farm (if you’re ever on the market for an amazing cuppa joe you can find some at www.paradisefoundhawaii.com). She and Miss Abi were all gorgeous and almost ready to go, as we just did some last minute shopping in the Closet-of-Mom, (it never gets old) where we whipped out a silk batik to go with her skirt, some Ni’ihau shells, and a red pua from the tree outside. Couldn’t have been more Kyra: No stess + simple and chic. And that’s what it is all about- capturing her being her. We had so much fun just playing around as it was just another beautiful day at the office!
